Nyungwe and Akagera National Parks – Rwanda
Rwenzori Turaco an endemic bird to the Albertine Rift Region
3rd to 11th September 2019
From 3rd to 11th September, we have conducted a birding and wildlife game driving tour in Akagera and Nyungwe National Parks-Rwanda. The trip was very enjoyable and successful. The accommodation was budgeted but clean, the transport and guiding were well organized. The main target of this trip was to see maximum of Albertine Rift Endemics and we saw 25 out of 29 found in Nyungwe NP. We missed Kivu ground Thrush, Albertine Owlet, Shelley’s Crimsowing, Rokefeller’s Sunbird.
