Tour Introduction
Located in the East African region, Rwanda and Uganda are distinguished by a wide range of natural landscapes, wildlife and diverse sites to visit. From national parks and wildlife to its freshwater lakes and waterfalls, East Africa’s unparalleled attractions continue to fascinate visitors. Rwanda and Uganda, and East Africa in general, are known for their unique attractions, including safari parks, endemic birds, volcanoes, mountains, beaches and a variety of cultures. Both countries are part of the Albertine Rift and have a vast mountain range and savannah areas. The region has features but I can only name some that may tempt you to visit Uganda/Rwanda

The national parks and reserves of Rwanda and Uganda have vast habitat for large herds of the African big 5: lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo and rhinos as well as other animals like giraffes, topis, zebras, hippos, crocodiles, etc. The East African region is home to over 1,200 varieties of birds, including 41 species endemics to the Albertine Rift region. Rwanda, Uganda and DRC, are the only habitats to Mountain Gorillas as well as other rare primates among other Golden Monkeys and Chimpanzees
