Your adventure begins in the heart of Tanzania’s renowned national parks, where you will traverse the vast plains of the Serengeti, witness the awe-inspiring Ngorongoro Crater, and explore the diverse ecosystems of Tarangire. This leg of the journey promises up-close encounters with the “Big Five” and countless other species, set against a backdrop of stunning landscapes that change with each destination.

Following the wildlife-rich plains of Tanzania, we transition to the dense, mist-covered forests of Rwanda, home to the majestic mountain gorillas. Here, you will trek through the verdant slopes of Volcanoes National Park, experiencing the profound thrill of observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat. This portion of the safari not only provides a unique wildlife encounter but also supports conservation efforts critical to the survival of these endangered creatures.

Safari Itinerary

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro airport and finish customs formalities you will proceed to arrival exit for meet and greet with your driver guide, and you will enjoy a 45minutes drive to Rivertrees Lodge for dinner and overnight

You will have a breakfast and you will have a 30-minute drive to Arusha NP for a walking safari and game drive. Drive back to overnight at Rivertrees Lodge

After breakfast we will enjoy a drive to Tarangire National Park which is about 2.30min from the lodge. Upon arrival we will continue with a game drive en route, and we will overnight inside the park at Lolkisale Bush Camp

We will enjoy a full day in Tarangire National Park, sundowner and overnight at Lolkisale Bush Camp

After breakfast, you will enjoy a leisurely stroll to Gibbs Farm, located on the outer slopes of the Ngorongoro Crater. Founded in the 1920s as a coffee plantation and for now the farm embraces traditional East African hospitality. Lunch is organized at the farm restaurant and in the afternoon, you explore the activity of the organic garden; Overnight and dinner will be at Gibbs Farm Lodge.

We will drive early in the morning to Ngorongoro crater with a picnic breakfast and lunch, half day game drive then we will drive to overnight at Ndutu Area- Northwestern of Ngorongoro; dinner and overnight at Lake Masek Tented Lodge

After breakfast we will enjoy a game drive in Ndutu Area then we will drive to Central Serengeti for overnight at Sametu Tented Camp

Optional balloon safari in central Serengeti with an evening game drive is proposed; dinner and overnight at Sametu Tented Camp

Serengeti National Park is known for its massive annual migration of wildebeest and zebra. In search of new pastures, herds move north from their breeding grounds on the southern grassy plains. Many cross the crocodile-infested Grumeti River into the swampy western corridor. Others head northeast to the Lobo Hills, home to black eagles. Black rhinos inhabit the granite outcrops of the Moru Kopjes. Free breakfast, then we will enjoy a trip to the north of the Serengeti National Park for a safari and observation of the animals of this park; accommodation at Serengeti River Camp.

We will enjoy a full day game drive in Northern Serengeti dinner and overnight at Serengeti River Camp

You will take flight from Kogatende airstrip to Kigali via Mwanza airport for custom formalities. Upon arrival in Kigali meet and greet at the airport transferred to Chez Lando Hotel

After breakfast at the hotel, you will enjoy Kigali city tour which includes visiting Kigali Genocide Memorial and Kimironko Market. After lunch you will be transferred to overnight at Ingagi Park View Lodge.

You will enjoy a drive to the volcanoes national park gate for briefing, then you will start your hike up to see Mountain Gorillas, you will have lunch back at the lodge, overnight at Ingagi Park View Lodge.

After breakfast you will visit golden monkeys in Volcanoes area, you will have lunch at the lodge. Visit Gorilla Guardian and interact with local communities (former poachers): dances, traditional wedding, etc; overnight at Ingagi Park View Lodge.

After a leisure breakfast, you do some birding around the lodge and then you will be transferred to the airport late afternoon to catch up your evening flight back home; END
