Tour Introduction

Kenya is a country in East Africa with a coastline on the Indian Ocean. It encompasses savannahs, lakes, the spectacular Great Rift Valley, highland mountains and coastal beaches. It is also home to wildlife such as lions, elephants, and rhinos. From Nairobi, the capital, you can visit the Maasai Mara Reserve, known for its annual wildebeest migrations and Amboseli National Park, offering a view of Mount Kilimanjaro at 5,895m in Tanzania.

Meet and greet at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transfer to your hotel for Dinner and overnight at The Cloud Hotel.

Depart for Lake Nakuru NP to reach on lunch time and we have an evening game drive at 16:00hrs. Besides the flamingos that the lake is famous for; there are approx 400 other species of birds in the lake also many species of game found in the park including Rothschild’s Giraffe, Black and White Rhinoceros, Waterbuck, Reedbuck, Buffalo and many species of plains; dinner and overnight at Ziwa Bush Lodge.

Early morning game drive before breakfast, after breakfast, you will depart to the Mara Reserve, home to the big five and numerous plains game breaking for hot lunch. You will arrive in time for check in and departing for afternoon game drives; overnight at Oldarpoi Mara Camp

Take an extensive full day game

 drive into the reserve covered with rolling grasslands dotted with acacia and hazy forested hills

 and riverline bush where the Mara River and its tributaries meander, Maasai Mara is considered

 by many to be Kenya’s finest game reserve. Masai Mara is the home of numerous wildlife species

 including elephant, rhino, lion, cheetah, leopard, hyena, jackal, buffalo, eland, topis, impala,

 gazelle, warthog and zebra. From July to October, the annual Wildebeest migration takes place

 when thousands of these animals sweep across the plain and seek out new grazing areas, a full day

 game drive with picnic lunch at the hippo pool on the banks of the Mara River were the crossing of the Gnus [wildebeests] takes place while the killer crocodiles await will be the best experience ever; meals and overnight at Oldarpoi Mara Camp

After breakfast, you will leave for Lake Naivasha which is the highest Lake in The Rift Valley arriving in good time for lunch. Later in afternoon we proceed for a boat ride at Lake Naivasha. The small perimeters of the park give you a chance to see a variety of wildlife; Dinner and overnight at Naivasha Kongoni Lodge

Very early breakfast and then depart for Amboseli National Park, at the foot of Africa’s highest mountain; Kilimanjaro, is one of Kenya’s most popular national parks arriving in good time for lunch with afternoon game drive. The snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro rising above the clouds dominates every aspect of Amboseli and the Observation Hill which allows an overall view of the whole park especially the swamps and elephants; dinner and overnight Sungura Safari Camp.

Tsavo West is a beautiful, rugged wilderness. The savannah ecosystem comprises of open grasslands, scrublands, and Acacia woodlands, belts of riverine vegetation and rocky ridges including the Poacher’s Lookout where visitors can see the teeming herds in the plains below. The attractions include elephant, rhino, Hippos, lions, cheetah, leopards, Buffalos, diverse plant and bird species including the threatened corncrake and near threatened Basra Reed Warbler. Dinner and overnight at Ngulia Safari Lodge.

After breakfast, you will cross to Tsavo East, which is located in southeastern Kenya. It is the Kenya’s oldest and largest national park, forming part of a massive conservation area with Tsavo West. Known for its vast, semi-arid plains, it’s famous for its dust-red elephants and it is home to large prides of lions, elusive leopards and cheetahs. Dinner and overnight at Man Eaters Lodge

Today after breakfast, you will have a transfer to Mtito andei Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) station to catch your train to Mombasa; dinner and overnight at Bahari Dhow Beach Villas

You will embark on the daily excursions with picnic lunch en route, to begin with city tour, visit Old town of Mombasa with Swahili and Arabic culture, followed by Fort Jesus Museum – synonymous with the history of the East African Coast then visit the Food and spice market – a glimpse into the lives of the local people. Afternoon, visit Kisite Mpunguti Marine National Park and Reserve is a protected marine area on Kenya’s south coast, renowned for its vibrant coral reefs, abundant marine life, and dolphin populations. Comprising Kisite Island and the Mpunguti Islands, it offers excellent snorkeling and diving opportunities to view coral gardens, tropical fish, turtles, and migrating birds. The area also features the unique Wasini Women’s Boardwalk through    mangroves, local villages, and the nearby Shimoni Slave Caves, providing a blend of marine, cultural, and historical experiences.
